Intrafor’s innovative approach to sustainable development at Tung Chung West Station in Hong Kong
VSL Intrafor has been selected by Dragages Hong Kong Limited and MTR Corporation Limited for specialized ground engineering works on the Tung Chung Line Extension. This includes the construction of Diaphragm Walls for the new Tung Chung West Station, TBM Launching Shaft, and TBM Maintenance Plugs, along with ground improvement works at various points along the tunnel alignment.

Using our HDD expertise for the installation of a network cable system
Intrafor has been selected by Hong Kong Broadband Network to install a high-capacity network cable system with two cables from Hong Kong Island and Sai Kung. Our teams are currently drilling under the seabed of the Hong Kong harbour and making use of our unique Horizontal Directional Drilling expertise to enable the cable landfalls. Good luck to all our staff involved for the successful delivery of the project!

We are back in Melbourne, Australia, doing more of what we love: diaphragm wall solutions for major infrastructure projects. The diaphragm wall excavation works started in April 2023 and the Intrafor Teams are fully committed to making this exciting project a complete success!
